Sharon Kanai, Chief Instructor
Sharon Kanai Sensei is dojo cho (director) of New England Aikikai. She is ranked 6th dan Shidoin, and is a certified instructor under the United States Aikido Federation. Sharon Kanai Sensei began training intensively at New England Aikikai in 1980. For 25 years she was a student of Mitsunari Kanai Shihan until his passing in 2004. They were also married with 2 children.
