Sharon Kanai, Chief Instructor
Sharon Kanai Sensei is Chief Instructor and Dojo Cho of New England Aikikai. She is ranked 6th Dan Shidoin and is a certified instructor under the United States Aikido Federation. She is also ranked 1st Dan in Iaido. Sharon Kanai Sensei began training intensively at New England Aikikai in 1980. For 25 years she was a student of Mitsunari Kanai Shihan until his passing in 2004. They were also married with 2 children.
